Lang Lang, the world renowned pianist, gives an exceptional recital with works composed by Beethoven, Prokofiev, Albéniz and Chopin. Aged 11 only, Lang Lang received the First Prize at the fourth International Competition for Young Pianists in Ettlingen, Germany, and two years later he won the first prize at the International Tchaikovsky Competition for Young Musicians in Japan. These early successes made Lang Lang's reputation worldwide. Since then, the young virtuoso has been invited to perform with the most prestigious orchestras (the BBC Orchestra, the Orchestre de Paris, the Philadelphia Ochestra ...). Along with his intense musical career, Lang Lang has been committed to philanthropical organisations, such as the UNICEF, of which he has been appointed "Goodwill Ambassador."
